Sick Visits & In-Home Diagnostics
Evaluation and Diagnostics in the Comfort of Home
For established patients, Dr. Eve can evaluate qualifying illnesses and changes in health — bringing selected diagnostics and treatment planning directly to your home when the pet's condition can be safely managed outside a clinic.
This care may be helpful when:
- Your established pet has a new or worsening concern
- Your pet needs bloodwork, urinalysis, or sample collection
- Your pet has a skin, ear, or wound concern that can be assessed at home
- Your pet is anxious at the clinic and would be calmer at home
Sick Visit Evaluation
Timely evaluation of new or worsening concerns for pets with an established VCPR with Dr. Eve — including vomiting, lethargy, appetite changes, limping, and more. Availability is limited and subject to scheduling.
Comprehensive Bloodwork
Complete blood counts, chemistry panels, and thyroid testing to evaluate organ function, screen for early disease, and monitor chronic conditions. Results are reviewed with you.
Urinalysis & Sample Collection
In-home urine collection and analysis to screen for infection, crystals, kidney markers, protein, and glucose.
Skin & Ear Cytology
Microscopic evaluation of skin and ear samples to identify bacterial or yeast infections, parasites, and inflammatory conditions — allowing targeted, effective treatment.
Wound Care & Bandage Changes
Assessment and management of wounds, skin lesions, and post-surgical sites in the comfort of home — reducing stress and unnecessary clinic visits for pets that heal better in familiar surroundings.
Sick Visits and Selected Diagnostics Are for Established Patients
Dr. Eve must first establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship and become familiar with the pet's medical history before providing qualifying sick visits, urgent assessments, selected diagnostics, or ongoing supportive treatments.

- How the pet walks on its normal flooring
- How it uses stairs
- Preferred bedding and resting positions
- Access to food and water
- Litter-box access
- Household stressors
- Interaction with family members
- Behavior that may be altered by clinic anxiety
- Practical caregiving challenges

Helpful Reading for Pet Families
“Dr. Eve made a house call to help my cat. Getting this high-strung girl into the car and to the vet's office would have been stressful for her and it would have made everything so much worse! Having a thoroughly competent, compassionate, responsive doctor come to see her made such a difference! I can't recommend her highly enough!!!”
